We met Brie & Nathan just a month ago. They had decided to change their big wedding plans to a smaller, more intimate gathering and were wondering if we were available in just a few weeks. Thankfully this is a much slower season for weddings, because we wanted to be a part of their day.
As you know we love the details! And we were thrilled with what the day had in store. We arrived at Nathan’s parents home, where both of them were getting ready, got some of the getting ready details, met the fam and then were off to take outside pics with Brie & Nathan. Now, let me remind you that Friday was…well, FREEZING! And Brie was a trouper! They wanted pictures by a covered bridge and she stood outside in her gorgeous dress like there was no icy wind at all.
It was then off to the American Music Theater for some more pictures and the ceremony. This was the first ceremony held at the Theater and we are very excited we got to be a part of it. It was stunning and the perfect location for (warm) indoor pictures with the guests afterwards.
The party was at John J. Jeffries restaurant in the Lancaster Arts Hotel. The atmosphere was warm and beautiful, the food looked divine and Brie & Nathan were surrounded by their loved ones. The perfect ending to a not so traditional wedding.

Brie’s dress was gorgeous!
Nathan’s mom has a sewing biz, here she is securing the wedding bands to the pillow for their niece to carry.
Their rings were stunning!
And of course the shoes, I love how perfectly they matched her dress.
Lani was the makeup artist and hairstylist. We highly recommend her, she is fantastic!
It was a gorgeous day! (What the picture doesn’t show is the bitter cold temperature and the icy wind!)

I must mention her bouquet by Wildflowers by Design. I am not normally a huge fan of white(ish) bouquets, but this one was fantastic. I love the hints of green and gold, the mixture of flowers and how well it worked with Brie’s dress.
I love these next two that our assistant Maryn captured. Maryn is one of our bride’s from a couple years ago who is branching out into the photography world, so we’ve been working a bit with her and loved having her assist for this wedding!
She’s just beautiful, you have a lovely wife Nathan.

The cake by House of Clarendon. The top layer was designed to match Brie’s dress and the bottom layer to match Nathan’s tie.
We lost Nathan for a few minutes, so we took the opportunity to get this one of Brie. Gorgeous!
