Tara and Cory decided to get married at one of their favorite places. Kettle Creek Vista is just gorgeous overlooking the Appalachian Mountains. The color was absolutely perfect and Tara was so beautiful in her wedding gown as she walked down the aisle to Cory. Ok….let me rephrase a bit….as she was blown down the aisle to Cory! It was ridiculously windy and quite cold the day of their wedding, but the sun managed to make a few appearances throughout the day and it didn’t stop them from having a great time with their friends and family. And did I mention the fall color and it’s perfection? It was stunning!

Tara put together some great details for a fall wedding.

She is also a big scrapbooker, so the guest book has a page for each guest or family with room for a message and a picture.

We had a great weekend away to celebrate and capture your wedding :) Congrats and we’re looking forward to a weekend at the cabin!

From the moment we met Jen & Jim we were friends. We just had a great connection and were so excited about their wedding that we were thrilled when they said, ‘yep, we choose you!’. Last Saturday was the big day, so we loaded up the car and were off to Montgomery County PA. It was the most beautiful fall day! Jen & Jim opted for the First Look, which of course we love and they did too. Then after an outdoor ceremony it was time for the food…er…I mean reception….I mean party. You see Jim is a chef, so food was a big deal at their wedding. And the party? It was crazy! Breakdancing, twirling, a packed dance floor, karaoke….and after that? They just continued on to the hotel bar….and started all over again!

Ok, let me tell you a bit about Jen & Jim….

They are high school sweethearts that met……

in cheerleading!!

He was the only guy on the team….and he won her heart.

They’ve been together for 11 years and you can still see the glow of new love. It kind of just follows them.

Their reception was in the Silos Ballroom, so we grabbed the bridal party for a few more pics during cocktail hour.

The cocktail hour was fantastic, the food delicious. There was even a mushroom station. The ballroom was beautiful especially with the floral centerpieces and each guest was given a bottle of homemade wine. Cake and Catering by Normandy Farms Hotel & Conference Center.

This was no ordinary first dance. There was spinning and twirling and a whole lot of smiles.

Their cake was delicious with a coffee flavored filling, yum!
