Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, was the site of the camp of the American Continental Army during the Revolutionary War. Today it’s a beautiful historic park rich in history, a beautiful place to spend an afternoon. Valarie & Andy thought it would be a great place to start their E Session. We spent some time in the fields wandering around and goofing off. The light late in the day made for some awesome shots. At one point I think we nearly lost them in the fields! There are acres and acres of beautiful walking trails. Then we jumped in the car and headed to West Chester PA to do some shots downtown. W.C. is a really quaint town with lots of cool restaurants and shops. We all had a blast trying not to get hit by cars while taking street pictures. Even after the E Session was done, Nat & I enjoyed a great dinner and awesome Root Beer at Iron Hill Brewery, we give it two thumbs up.

What you can’t see in this picture is Nat & I praying like mad that the ring doesn’t fall and disappear into the weeds.

We had a blast taking Stacey & James through Lititz PA for their E session. We loved working with them because they are up for anything and totally into pictures. They wanted some fall shots and we lucked out on picking the right day for fall colors. The week before there wasn’t much and the week after all the leaves were gone. After we walked through Lititz we headed out to Speedwell Forge for some different scenery.

For Jenni & Brian’s engagement session we went to Skippack Village in Montgomery County PA, about 35 miles northwest of Philadelphia. It’s a really fun, quaint place with lots of shops and restaurants close together.

We started the afternoon at a cute sushi place tucked into the trees called Tokyo Japanese Restaurant. We loved the idea, both Nat & I are sushi fans! We had lunch together while we took some photos (when we weren’t dodging falling walnuts). Then we went for a walk and had a relaxed time of random portraits in various spots as we found them. We had a blast and can’t wait for their wedding next year!
